This kit represents the FLT II version of this class of submarines.
Flt III covers submarines SSN-720 through SSN-750. The Flt II boats are distinguished by bow mounted vertical launch tubes.
The Yankee Modelworks kit makes a great starter kit for those new to resin ship models. The hull measures 12 1/4 inches long. The kit has a photo-etched sheet that contains the safety rails and propeller. Metal castings make up the dive planes. This kit can be built in a matter of hours.
