Built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the OH-6D is Japan's license-built version of the Hughes OH-6 Cayuse observation heli. The OH-6D has been flown by multiple military and civilian units, including the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force (J.G.S.D.F.). The J.G.S.D.F. is currently transitioning to the newer Kawasaki OH-1, but many OH-6Ds are still flown from military bases such as Tachikawa Airfield. This limited edition kit features new resin light, FLIR and antenna parts.
